road trip to palm springs

 

a couple of weeks ago we went on a road trip to palm springs.  we had gigi along with us and stopped on the way in covina for some starbucks.  our first night there, michael's parents came to our hotel for some delicious mexican food takeout from a local taqueria and afterward while the ladies put their feet up the boys and men made up a game involving pillows, jumping, and being tossed on the bed.  the next day we picked up my brother from the airport and hung out around town and at his and andrea's hotel esmeralda.  ezra missed luke but had special bonding time with his uncle who took him swimming and bought him his first skateboard.  this was our second time visiting the area for a possible residency program that is interested in michael and were giving him a 'second look'.  it's a beautiful area and not too far from home.  we are anxious to find out where we will be headed and are looking forward to the next step of michael's medical career journey.  in case you were wondering, match day is march 15th and by then we will know where our future lies.
