indy turns one!

while we were up north, we celebrated indy's first birthday with just us - our family of four.  we went shopping for some new pants and shoes for him after getting a birthday cake at whole foods.  ezra got a lego ninjago watch in the process and has since then been learning to tell time.  later we crowned indy the birthday prince and he chose to eat his chocolate cake with a fork.  since indy turned one, he's started talking beginning with, "hi, bye, no no no, and hot!"  indy, you are a spirited little being always busy doing, moving, laughing, and smiling.  you came and joined our family with a great ability to fit in right now.  you go with the flow quite easily and just want to be around everyone and especially wherever ezra is (although lately you're pretty into me too).  your first words were mama, dada, and ezra, but your favorite word by far is ezra.  you call him several times a day, sounding like, "edda."  we all love to hear your voice.  we're so glad you're here.
