no, it's not indy's turn yet...
it's ezra's!
(if you know him well, you can tell this is a nervous smile)
and it was his first day of school EVER!
he was so brave and didn't cry - although a many a tear was shed over the summer about it
we had ice cream after to celebrate a great first day!
on the second day he walked along the low wall like a pro.
school is a walk in the park...
i came to pick up a little too early the second day and while the kids were finishing their lunch outside, i took these pictures of some of what went on in his classroom that day.
stereo chemistry
ezra was playing with the money.
here he is at the start of the second week of school in his uniform.
"no hat no play!" due to the intense desert sun.
i am so happy he says he loves school everyday.
meanwhile, indy and i have taken a nap together
and are otherwise up to one thing or another!
oh mama, i bet some of those tears were not all ezra's.

Oh - what a great post Anushka, the photos are a great capture of the event. I am so very happy that it has been a positive experience for Ezra - Dillon felt very similar when he started school!!!
