ezra's room
this is ezra's space. he doesn't use it as often as i thought he would. it's more fun to be in the main part of the house where all the action is happening. but, when we do spend time in here, it's fun to be in another quiet space of the house with colorful toys and books all around. of course the play room is full of them too, but the floor is tiled and not carpeted like this. ezra has spent the better part of his life on hardwood and tiled floors and is loving laying all over the carpeted floors of this house we're in. i must say i'm grateful for it too especially with a baby who spends a lot of his time on the floor. i'm also grateful for this sweet crocheted blanket you see that michael's late grandmother crocheted and was passed onto us from his aunt. it's such a lovely heirloom and has really kept it's shape and niceness. it almost seems new. i can't do much decorating with no budget and also with our nomadic lifestyle. we are moving again in six months already and will have at least 2 moves in 2013. wow... just thinking about it makes my head spin little. for now, i'll have a nice time laying in these beautiful rooms with my boys.

Do you know where you're moving to? A stint in La France perhaps? :) you always make the most of your space and what I wouldn't do for a carpeted room! xxx
ReplyDeleteHow i envy a baby content to lie on the bed, and I love all the books!! A boy after my own heart!!
ReplyDeleteOh that crocheted blanket is quite an heirloom!! And while there must be stress involved with all your moving, I hope there is adventure and enjoyment in there too!! Like Andrea I would love to know where you are going? Maybe a stop in Colorado would be fun--and most definitely France!!!
