fall knitting
it's finally fall here and we have come out of hibernation! we are used to this by now - summer indoors - rest of the year outdoors, living the last three years in either tropical weather or now this year - super hot and dry desert weather. i dream of living somewhere one day where we can be outdoors year round - the california coast presumably. no matter where we live, i know i will always knit. i gave away all of my yarn before moving to st. maarten and quickly started making plans to get yarn my way - i had to wait until my mom came for christmas that first year in st. maarten, and it was such a great suitcase to open with my mom - thanks to her and my friend clare. teddy is showing you my current project - a gaenor shawl with malabrigo's silky merino yarn in tatami (i'm so in love with this yarn and shade - thank you lori for the great suggestion!) i finished up the owly vest, booties, and bib. they were sent off this week (should arrive friday clare and nicola!) and now it's time to start up sweaters for my boys! so excited about these.

OH - I love all of these. The photos are great. School work has taken up so much of my time and the knitting has been sitting in the corner. Thank you for the motivation to pull it out again. So glad fall has arrived for you.....enjoy. Chey xo
ReplyDeleteI do wish I could knit - the little orange pullover is just simply gorgeous.
