we drove up to menlo park last week to visit with our family up in northern california.
we took the 101 freeway and enjoyed the spectacular scenery all the way up.
we stopped midway at the flying caballos ranch in san luis obispo
to visit with some friends i made through my first blog while living on st. maarten.

it was great to finally meet jeanene in person and her family. she has been one of my greatest inspirations for homeschooling as she does with her boys and will continue to do with her twins that were born a few months after indy. after moving all over the world, they have decided to settle on the central coast of california. we look forward to seeing more of each other in the future.
