this week we have....

watched ezra climb the haystack many times,

settled in with our new neighbors,

taken them out to graze in the afternoon sun,

while ezra played in the sand with bee,

and then went for a little ride on eli with chicken.

this week we have been to the crocs store to get ezra some rubber boots for the ranch,

(but he wears them everywhere)

including to the park to play on the playground,

and ride his bike with.

this week we have started riding our bikes as a family in the morning

with ezra sitting in his special seat on daddy's bike.

this week we have looked at our shadows on a different kind of sand

and in a whole different kind of attire - long pants, socks and shoes....

 and gloves - oh my!!!

this week my boy has learned to help out in the corral

and shoveled manure on his own after being taught by his grandpa.

this week we have taken the donkeys out to the round pen,

 pet their soft nuzzlers,

and watched chicken make them smile.

this week we have watched ezra ride his bike everyday and ask for five more minutes on his bike when it's time to go home.  he has asked for five more minutes in the corral, to be outside with his auntie and grandma before his bath, for five more minutes at gigi's house, for five more minutes at the playground and five more minutes before going to bed.  there is so much to be grateful for here right now.  we are enjoying all the activity ezra is getting, the attention and love from relatives, and the time spent outdoors. we have a lot more than five minutes to spend here and are thankful for this time we are in.

  1. I so want a donkey! They are so cute. It looks so beautiful where you are. It seems you've been there for longer than you have. Loving Ezra's new boots. Better not show the Sam boy :) xx

  4. It is a different week from those of previous months but what a beautiful week. That is a happy little boy who gets to spend that much time outside, just doing little boy stuff. Love the croc boots. My boys would go crazy for those too.
