3 months

on friday you turned 3 months old indy.  you coo, laugh and smile a lot now which makes our hearts melt.  you have found your hands and are sucking on them often when you're awake.  you notice patterns on fabrics and can see things better near and far.  you enjoy picture books just for you, looking at trees when we go outside, and watching the tropical fish in the aquarium scene on our media player.  i like that you notice me when i come into your space.   it is amazing to look into your blue eyes and you hold my gaze so long now.  you weigh over 16 pounds and are very strong.  you like to lay on your tummy everyday and lift your head to look around.  you like to stand with our assistance but of course more than anything you love being held.  you are quite cuddly and we all like holding you, although you are too heavy for ezra.  he wants to hold you though and one time we carried you together from the living room to the bedroom!  and what a big help your brother is.  he talks to you and sings to you and tries to comfort you when you are crying.  you love any attention he gives you and i love it too.  you are drooling now and it makes you fuss. this morning you played with your "sophie la girafe" lovey cloth for the first time.  it's a great drool soaker and you're able to hold it up to your mouth now with your newly discovered hands.  the essence of your soul is pure love and sweetness.  you have a gentle coo and a slow laugh.  it is more an more fun everyday being with you.  we're so glad you're here!
