the first day of this month *that i can't believe is almost half over already* we celebrated my father in law's birthday. it was a big one - ending in a zero - and the whole family gathered, including my mom and most notably our fly-in for the day - uncle christopher! it was such an exciting whirlwind of a day with good food, music, conversation and my hands actually had a moment to knit during the day while indy was awake because he was busy being passed around by the grands. these pictures were taken by michael who is absent from the photos because he was behind the camera this time taking the shots. it's always so fun to come together like this with the kids being showered with love and affection from the rest of the tribe (even when we're coming to celebrate one of the elders - they usually steal the show).
The happiness radiates through these beautiful pictures :)
