arizona

while the boys and i were visiting family up north, michael was in arizona staying with my brother.  it was a great trip for him both professionally and personally.  he enjoyed his experience in the radiology department he was working at - the people, the specialty, and the hospital.  michael and my brother steve had some good male bonding time - i think we wore him out by the end of our first 24 hours back together - he got used to his freedom from family life.  they went to the movies, dinner, and for a great hike up pinnacle peak.  michael found great beauty in the desert, went back to visit his childhood home from when he lived there as a 4 and 5 year old, and declared phoenix a place we could enjoy living - especially as it would be so close to family.  i am missing the ocean dearly, but to live by my brother and nephew would be an easy trade.  i just don't know about all the snakes and scorpions my brother tells me about.
