exploring ezra's new paradise playground
pretty amazing isn't it?
he loves this web
and so do the other children.
i was silently hoping that boy on the tippy top right corner wouldn't fall as he took pictures with his camera from way up high.
i like the lighthouse detail here because there is one on key biscayne.
one thing we've noticed is people drive golf carts here.
there are even parking spaces for them.
we like this kind of slow paced island life for sure.
and those green shady trees...
we found this baby sea turtle in the ocean getting whilst getting water for our bucket.
he was so cute swimming around in there but wasn't doing as well in the big sea. i'm not sure he made it out there in the big world. he was still close to the shoreline for a while after we put him back.
the fourth of july parade we were so excited to see was all that we hoped for. air force jets flew overhead to start off the show and ezra left with handfuls of candy, a beach ball, bracelets, and a balloon.
our friend aase (pronounced ossa) was with us and has become a surrogate grandma... to me! : )
we watched the fireworks from a balcony of friend's of aase's.
it was a great first weekend in our new town.

so glad! i love to hear your happy and things are looking up. that's a great playground for ezra, he will have lots of friends for sure.
ReplyDeletethat is the cutest wee turtle ever! oh i would love to find one. but i'd want them all to be fine too. so cute.
those are the first fireworks i've seen. we hid indoors at night on the fourth. :)
You've found yourself such a great place to live. It looks wonderful. A great experience for Ezra he'll remember for sure :)

Thanks for the kind comment over at my place :)
What a FUN park! We had something similar in Switzerland when I was little. The colors in the photos are just beautiful!! It is so very dusty yellow here.
ReplyDeletewhat a great playground- Love all the photo of E playing- and that sea turtle is so cute- I really do hope he made it in the big wide world.
