transforming power

your love contains the power
of a thousand suns.
it unfolds as naturally and effortlessly
as does a flower,
and graces the world with its blooming.
its beauty radiates a transforming energy
that enlivens all who see it.
because of you, compassion and joy
are added to the world.
that is why the stars sing together
because of your love.

from the words of William Martin in "The Couple's Tao Te Ching"

these two souls have come together and decided to marry one another.  my kind, sensitive, intelligent, adventurous, gentlemanly, not to mention handsome brother in law asked his beautiful, brilliant, soft spoken, creative, sweet loving girlfriend to marry him while they were vacationing on the island of paxos in greece.  i was overjoyed to hear the happy news.  love - a wedding - a couple who has found one another and intends to live out their lives together - and they're a part of my family!  ezra later said, "i didn't know they weren't married."  annie has been a loving auntie to ez since he was born.  later on he said to me, "i know who i'm going to marry when i grow up" and then whispered in my ear, "you!"  but, a few moments later when daddy asked, "who are you going to marry?"  he said, "eva.  (his other auntie) because mommy's already married to you."  but, back to christopher and annie, my dear brother in law and soon to be sister in law - we love you guys - best wishes from all of us!
