family time

christopher and annie came down from san francisco over the weekend.  they met indy in the flesh (they were there on skype in the delivery room after he was born)

and brought presents...  thank you!

and played pretend games with ezra - about - pooh.  what else?

 ezra got uncle christopher with the pooh here.  

then we braved the heat and set out for a park we've never been to.

there wasn't much energy to be spent in the heat, but the frisbee was tossed a few times and a kite was flown by a few.

indy had the best seat of all.

but they do make this look comfortable don't they?

i love his smile.  dare i say he looks like me here?  it's michael's smile he has though.

i was happy to be near some big tall trees.  i have a thing for trees.  they make me stand taller, breath deeper.  i have been known to give them hugs.

chicken came too and took most of these pics (thanks kristen!) but we set up the timer for a family photo before it was time to part.  i don't have the knowhow to superimpose indy into this one.  he was already asleep.  it was a whirlwind of fun with the family.  thank you for coming all the way to see us!  until we meet again.  we love you!
