academy of sciences

last week we visited the california academy of sciences - please remember my camera is broken and these pictures are taken without the ability to see what i am taking.  i am happy to see there are some worth sharing, but they certainly are mediocre at best.  despite being disappointed that i couldn't really enjoy being a photographer at this amazing planetarium, aquarium, vivarium (they have an epic indoor rainforest exhibit) and a garden on the roof called the "living roof" we had a spectacular time and i think all really enjoyed this day.  my favorite were the 43 day old ostrich chicks getting their exercise in a little pen out back.  ezra enjoyed the earthquake simulator - i didn't go and was a little nervous that he might run out screaming - but, instead he came out saying, "let's do that again!"
