we had a lovely holiday with friends on monday. with the kids busy playing at the water play station and later inside with ava's toys, there was plenty of free time for the grown ups to talk and have wine and appetizers, and for me to snap pictures of our little crew before a delicious dinner prepared by jill and marc. these special days spent with my hometown friends makes me long for a stable home life nearby.
