lummus playground

yesterday morning ezra and i went to lummus playground.  we left at 11:00 and were okay in the heat with the breeze blowing from the adjacent beach.  but walking home close to noon was a challenge in the extreme heat of 99 degrees 75% humidity.  i think it's getting to be that time to stay indoors most of the day and only go outside in the early morning or evenings.  hopefully that will only last until september and we can enjoy a few months of tropical paradise here.  i think we will as we are moving to a little island paradise tomorrow!  it couldn't come any sooner.  we are leaving south beach for key biscayne and are very much looking forward to living there.  we've said it before michael and i, cities are fun places to visit, but we don't like living in them.  we are much happier surrounded by nature.  it will also be nice to finally settle in to a normal rhythm and not one dictated by the revelers in the building who pump their music well after midnight not to mention the city workers who keep us from sleeping in after a rough night's sleep.  i look forward to having a place for my things - i just found my camera charger and will get some pictures of south beach before we leave it tomorrow.  i am not sure we will ever come back!
