these podcasts:
we have been watching and listening to lisa hannigan, jeremy messersmith and the decemberists over and over again. i love this podcast for exposing not only myself to different music but for introducing ezra to different genres and some world class musicians - including yo-yo-ma. it is the perfect way to introduce young ones to good music - although i must say, some of the bands they feature aren't always that great - in my opinion. i hear myself saying to ezra, "it sounds like they're screaming" and then i feel old. but, you can upload just the ones you want or subscribe to the podcast for free on iTunes.
christmas everywhere! it is fun to be back in america, after two christmas in st. maarten, i'm enjoying all of the decked out christmas trees and decorations that abound here in the village of key biscayne. we came home to this tree this evening in our building's lobby. i haven't been able to decorate my own home this year, so it's nice that the world around me is lighting up!

what a clever little artist you have! I love seeing the amazing things they create.
ReplyDeleteMilo looks great, love the colour.
Your Milo is beautiful. I agree they are such fun to knit! I decided not to cable mine at all, as I have a few cabling projects on the go at the moment and needed this one to be just 'plain and simple'! Ezra's drawings are wow - looks like he has really taken his time and filled the whole paper, I just love it! What is it with boys and angry faces? Ha Ha x
ReplyDeleteI love the little things, all so colourful, that make up your day, Anushka.
ReplyDeleteOh....the milo!! So great! Ezra's train track is awesome too. I wish my kids could draw..but they only scribble for the most part. =l I love your bike!!
