i knit this for a dear friend's newborn son born just two days ago! i'm so glad i finished and mailed it off in time as this little sweater is especially sized for newborns. luckily he's a colorado boy and will need a bit of woolen warmth against his skin. the turtle appliqué was an afterthought to cover a pucker in my stitches. but, i think that and the ladybug button give it that extra special something for a very special friend's new baby.
I am DYING over this! You re truly talented, with perfect taste. What a great friend you are. ps- still trying to email you back, it's coming;)
ReplyDeleteI love that the buttons don't all match.
