he waited a bit.
but, then bee called him and he rode off in the distance.
my belly is clearly pregnant now in my shadow.
here's bee and me.
emmy and blackjack were on high alert when i arrived because a loose dog had made its way into the arena from the field. some dog owners are so irresponsible. these donkeys could really hurt their dog. donkeys do not like dogs.
but they are so cute, aren't they?
the beautiful view of the santa monica mountain range always fills me with peace.
ez and bee were treasure hunting.
they found coins
and bottle caps.
i sat with my big belly on the picnic table,
some neighbors came by to chat,
and then it was time to go.
ezra led the way
while the donkeys stopped for a snack.
it was a beautiful day and i was glad to make the trip on foot this time, not by truck. we'll probably go again this wednesday because i think this baby wants to stay in a while longer.
lovely photos. my daughter has that exact same bike, and legs around about the same length as Ezra's! I wonder how much longer we can get value out of the balance bikes before moving onto a pedal one (eeek! then there's be no keeping up with them!)
ReplyDeleteit looks like that was good for you, a walk, beautiful views. love the donkeys, i wonder if you'll be walking to see them again, or holding wee indy instead.
