when the wind came the leaves fell and ezra was so excited to tell daddy, 'it's fall! it's fall! the leaves are falling!" when we went to collect autumn leaves one morning for leaf prints, ezra was more interested in the leaves actually falling around him than picking them himself for our art project. this
fall banner idea came from
filth wizardry. if you haven't seen this blog before, you must look in the archives. pure creative genius! my butcher paper from ikea is too thin to withstand rubbing crayons over mangrove stems, so we had some tears. the result was not as great as the process was enjoyable. sometimes that's more important anyways. nevertheless, it hangs in our entryway but the lighting in our apartment is so dreary that i cannot take a picture inside that shows its true colors. the pumpkin mocha colored walls here cast an orange glow on everything.
Beautiful banner, and those leaves are lovely. I remember seeing so much of those (green though) while down there. Thanks for the link! I will check it out!

Beautiful! I love those colors. I am still waiting for some bigger leaves to fall over here. It just rained a little tonight so maybe there will be some on the ground in the morning.
