it went by way too fast.  we had two wonderful weeks with my mom visiting from california.  here are just some of the highlights of our time spent together and to start a little of the preparation that went into our welcome package for Gigi!  ezra picked out all the things we should decorate her door with, including cherries for her love of haribo gummy cherries, a cake, cookies, hearts, and a lollipop.  while she was here we had some nice days on the beach toward the end when it began cooling off here in miami.  we are now in the 80s and i'm so happy with this weather change i'm almost ready to pull out sweaters and scarves to wear while i grocery shop.  there are no pictures of me and my baby belly due to the fact that i have gained more than five pounds in the last month and i think it is thanks to being very well fed while my mom was here.  she enjoyed her first visit to miami and was ready to move here after spending time on the key.  the boutiques and fine restaurants made her feel right at home.  it was so nice to have her here to share some of these experiences with.  i gained a few more pounds, got some cute clothes from my favorite store, and most of all made some nice memories of our time together here.
