so on the eve of the biggest test of my husband's life (so far) when he asked me what's for dessert, i read the possibilities from my trusty 'veganomicon' cookbook and made him the above requested almond cookies (at 9 o'clock at night). i hope these cookies transmitted all my love and support for him and maybe have a few answers to some tricky test questions he may get tomorrow. but, i really have no clue what's going to be on the usmle step 1 exam. what i do know is that he has worked harder than i've ever seen a person work in mental preparation for this moment and that is a good thing. good luck michael! we are all rooting for you!
