we weren't planning a trip to polk street, but when we couldn't find parking anywhere near chestnut to have lunch, we ended up in a pay lot on van ness. a little flustered about the change in plans, we were relieved that just around the corner there was a crepe house that served soy chai lattes and grilled tofu sandwiches along with the regular fare of a traditional crepe house. we all bundled up and sat outside with griffen at our feet. on the way back to the car we passed an orange wall i thought was a good place for a photo op of our little gang of kids. ezra usually doesn't like posing for pictures and wouldn't face the camera. but i love how my brother and nephew are 'like father like son' in their expression for the camera!!!
