ezra and clio

clio, the three legged german shepherd rescue dog, is a very loving, energetic, in your face (if you're the same height as her nose) kind of dog.  her nose is big and wet and when she nuzzles against you, which she habitually does multiple times a day, you are left feeling slimed.  ezra doesn't like this and has made it known he doesn't like clio.  not only is he slimed everyday, he has been knocked over and pushed around enough to make him mad.  he has been given the tools to deal with her - a whip, a push, a shove, and the latest, a demand, "get out of my face, fool!"  his grandfather taught him that.  

fortunately, ezra has realized clio is his biggest fan out of all the dogs.  she really is just a love nut.  if she's not nosing you, she's running circles in the backyard whilst biting her tail.  they have a new game together that has gone on a few evenings now.  ezra and clio run big laps in the backyard.  ezra is starting to accept her and i think soon will stop being bothered by her when we cross the yard to the other house.  well, maybe not, but one can hope.  at least he has made a new friend out of a creature he at first did not like.  it's always great to find the good in everything.
