ezra and ava

this week we met up with my childhood best friend jill and her two children three days in a row.

ezra and ava, both now walking and talking since the last time they were together, hit it off instantly and played from start to finish of each of our meetings.

my friend's precious baby michael took it all in.

they gathered twigs and played in the shade of the old oak tree
that was here when we were children.

these trees remind me of my childhood home.

ava is a sweet and smart little one.  when we had a moment away, ezra declared her the new bianca.  she came over the next day to see the animals at bee's farm and then we walked to our local playground. i left my camera on this outing because i pulled the two littles in the radio flyer...

today we went to the library together for story time, some nursery rhymes, a song and a craft.

they enjoyed themselves immensely

and ezra was very proud of the beautiful apple he made...

there were things to play with,

a baby to smile at,

kitchen play,

and outside play too.  we are delighting in our good times with our friends from 'home' and savoring it while it lasts.
